Kaisa Ruotsalainen and Tatu Ahola: Baroque and Brilliance – Welcome to the Salon!

MUU Matinee presents: What would Grand Tour – Cabinet of Wonders be without music? This salon concert, held in the gallery space of MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre, offers a playful nod to aristocratic chamber music evenings – but without the corsets and courtiers. Instead, audiences are treated to a truly high-calibre performance in the spirit of the era, as baroque violinist Kaisa Ruotsalainen and baroque cellist Tatu Ahola interpret works by composers such as Gabrieli, Telemann and Händel – music once heard in the courts and concert halls of 18th-century Europe.
