Welcome to Cable Factory's Konttori!

Café and bar Cable Factory's Konttori is Cable Factory’s heart and its living room. Konttori is made for all Cable Factory’s visitors and tenants to offer a pleasant stop-off point that provides cultural inspiration.

You will find us at the gateway leading to Cable Factory’s inner courtyard, opposite Thierry Noir’s mural. You can hang around for a while, sample the tasty snacks on offer, browse the cultural magazine gallery and explore the clothes and accessories in our Second hand shop.

In Cable Factory’s Konttori you will also find a Posti parcel locker, workspace, meeting rooms for rental and the Microgallery, with a monthly exhibition of works by our tenants. Various events and meetings are also held at Konttori. Our rental services for tenants are centralised in Konttori.

Our services

Café and bar

Got a craving for coffee? Need a bite to eat? You can find tasty snacks at Cable Factory’s Konttori’s café all day long. Our range includes:

  • a quality selection of coffee and tea

  • refreshing juices and soft drinks

  • a wide selection of beers and wines

  • delicious warm toasts

  • buns, cakes and other bakery products

  • lots of goodies for the little ones.

We prioritise Finnish local and small producers in our selection. There is always a wide range of gluten-free and vegan alternatives available too. You can enjoy your food and beverages on the premises or take them with you.

Do you need to send off a few e-mails or read an article? The entire two-storey space of Cable Factory’s Konttori is ideal for independent working. Take your laptop or a book with you! Grab a snack from our café, pick the spot that suits you best and enjoy the atmosphere!

Second hand shop

You can explore our Second hand shop while enjoying a cup of coffee! Browse through our captivating selection and discover new clothing and accessory favorites. Here, you'll find unique and personalized items that are both friendly to the environment and your wallet.

Posti parcel locker

There is a Posti parcel locker at Cable Factory’s Konttori serving local residents during Konttori’s opening hours.

Culture magazine gallery

In the magazine gallery, you can find the latest issues of 200 member magazines from Kultti and Tidskriftscentralen. The entire range of member magazines are featured: subjects include cultural phenomena, science and art, politics and society, majorities and minorities, environment, sci-fi… Come and take a look and find a magazine that interests you!

Working and meeting spaces for rent

On Cable Factory’s Konttori’s upper level there are two spaces for rent. These can be used for workshops, hobbies, pop-ups or for groups and meetings. The spaces are 40 m2 in size and can take 20 people at a time. Order catering for your meeting from our café and you’re all set!

The spaces have flat screen displays, conference cameras, whiteboards, markers and pens, flip charts, and handy tables and chairs that can be re-arranged easily. Our staff will assist you with using the spaces and are on hand throughout the rental period.

Microgallery

The exhibitions in the Microgallery in Cable Factory’s Konttori change monthly and showcase the artists working here and their works. If you are interested in one of the works, it is usually possible to buy it from the exhibition!

Tenant services

Our tenant services are located together in Cable Factory's Konttori. At Konttori, our tenants have access to the following:

  • laminating

  • utility room bookings

  • workshop bookings

  • workspace and meeting space bookings

  • tenant sauna bookings

  • post and parcel collection point.
